AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

Description: Under the guidance of the Service Manager; this position requires to work diligently in diagnosing, servicing, repairing and maintaining customers vehicles, to ensure the highest level of workmanship and customer satisfaction while being a part of the department's and Auto Imports overall success. Candidate must have experience working on European Vehicles.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- diagnose issues and carry out repairs
- vehicle maintenance and repairs
- examine vehicle for further safety repairs or service required
- provide prioritized quotes for additional work
- provide procedures and repairs to Service Manager
- perform safety inspections
- perform road tests
Qualifications:
- diploma/GED or Automotive Service Technician Certificate
- strong product knowledge base
- ability to problem solve and carry out technical/mechanical repairs

- ability to operate both auto and manual transmissions
- valid driver's license for employment
- two (2) years minimum as a Automotive Service Technician
RECEPTIONIST

Description: Under the guidance of the Management Team at Auto Imports; you will greet all visitors and answer incoming phone calls maintaining a high level of Professionalism. Your secondary responsibilities include providing support with overflow work, things such as mailings, filing, etc. Must be enthusiastic, positive, even tempered and have strong skills in areas of dependability, interpersonal relationships, and communications. The Receptionist will routinely handle highly confidential information in a discreet, professional manner and provide a customer service approach with all interactions.

SERVICE ADVISOR

Description: As the primary contact for our service customers a Service Advisor also creates the impression of our brand. Because of this, they play a very important role in promoting and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. A Service Advisor contributes to the operational effectiveness of the Service department and to positive feedback/results by promptly and warmly greeting customers, enhancing the sale of labor and parts and advising and providing recommendations and estimates for the diagnosis of vehicle problems.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- greet customer, conduct  active vehicle side service consultation, document any customer concerns, recommend necessary service and promote the sale of labor, parts and accessories
- open repair order based on appointment information and any additional information provided by the customer during check-in
- provide estimates as needed
- maintain consistent contact with the customer for the duration of the vehicle repair by updating on the status of their vehicle and contact customer for additional work and promote sale of labor, parts and accessories
- discuss repairs with Technicians and keep updated on the status of vehicles
- review the invoice with the customer and ensure vehicle is ready for pickup
- arrange alternate transportation for customers while their vehicle is being serviced if needed
- schedule appointments for customers and follow-up on ordered parts and open work orders
- handle calls regarding technical and service related inquiries
Qualifications:
- post secondary diploma/degree in business or equivalent experience
- minimum of 3 yrs experience in a customer service role, prefer in a luxury automotive environment
- automotive workshop process and product knowledge
- ability to negotiate and sell
- ability to communicate technical information in a simple manner
- ability to perform under pressure and pay attention to detail
